These lighters have only been coated on the "front" side. The front of the lighter faces you when the open lid is to the left. The best way to dye sub print on the lighter is to use a flat press at 400 degrees F for 90 to 120 seconds. Your times and temperatures may need to be adjusted slightly. Just for kicks we also did one with a regular clothing iron at the top setting for 3 minutes, and believe it or not it looked great!

We have found that the best canvas size is 1.25"x2.00". I think you will find that to be suitable for most software.

Please note, these lighters are not pre-filled with Lighter Fluid. Lighter Fluid is extremely flammable. We would not recommend that you pre-fill them, especially before putting them in a heat press, as this might cause a explosion, which could result in bodily injury or death. We cannot be held responsible for such an event.
