Comparable Costings On Ink YieldOne of the questions we get asked most is what it costs to print an image with our sublimation inks. In fact we got asked this question so many times we decided to conduct our own in house tests to compare our product against other products on the market. We took a set of a major competitors inks and a set of our own JetBlaster inks and decided to do a head to head test using the same image on the same printer with the same paper. The image we used was an 8x10 image with equal squares of Cyan Magenta Yellow and Black printed at 720 dpi on an Epson 3000. We used a regular set of our cartridges and a regular set of the other brand of cartridges and here are the results. The first thing we noticed was that if you take the cartridge apart in the JetBlaster cartridge you will find 110 ml of ink. We noticed on the other cartridge that there was a heat seal about a third of the way down the bag, on further testing we found the cartridge to contain 70 ml of ink. This equates to 36% more ink in a JetBlaster cartridge. | |
